Cheezy Kale Chips

Hi Pilates Lovers!!

These home made chippies are crunchy, cheezy and more-ish which is totally fine since they're SO healthy. They're raw, vegan, and full of goodness.

I recently posted a photo of them on social media recently, and had heaps of interest in the recipe. So here it is;

(The quantities of spices will vary depending on your taste I kindof throw it all in and taste and adjust)

For the chips you'll need 3x large organic kale leaves cut/torn into bite size pieces, massage the pieces with some good quality olive oil (don't use coconut oil, as this can prevent full dehydration).

If you're not using organic kale I recommend washing the leaves well with a water/apple cider vinegar mix.

Ingredients for dressing:

1.5 cups raw cashews soaked in spring water for at least an hour

1/2 a red capsicum

1 clove of garlic

A handful of coriander

1 tbsp of nutritional yeast

A pinch of salt

Smoked paprika to taste

Cracked pepper to taste

1 tsp ginger powder

A splash of apple cider vinegar

Blend all of the above in a food processor, add some water to loosen if necessary.

Add the kale pieces and dressing into a bowl, and combine until all the kale pieces are coated in the dressing.

Pop them into the dehydrator ...and VOILA!

If you don't have a dehydrator you can pop these in the oven on a very very low heat until the kale is crunchy.

If you keep them stored in an air tight container they'll be good for about 10 days (but guaranteed they wont last that long!!)

Enjoy!!

Love,

Ange xx
