Hello Pilates lovers!! I'm very excited to bring you The Gentle Seven - where we will do one class per day, for seven days. The focus for the next seven day is to come back to fundamentals, focus on your form, posture and breath. Whether you are an experienced Pilates practitioner, or just starting out on your Pilates or fitness journey I think the next seven days will benefit you! So, welcome to Day 1, and I can't wait to spend the next seven days with you! For now, since a lot of us have come out of the 2 week pilates challenge, I thought it would be a great idea to do a pilates stretch and recovery session. You can do this before or after any exercise, or it is also a great way to start the day! As always keep in touch in the comments, and support each other through this challenge!! Pilates 2 Week Challenge - Day Eight

Hey Pilates Lovers, Welcome to day eight and well done for getting through the first week :) Only 7 days today so we are now on the home stretch! Today we will be using some hand weights, I add these in to get extra resistance and feel more burn! Normally I would be using some light dumbbells that weigh around 1.2kg - 1.5kg (2.64 lbs to 3.30 lbs), but I know a lot of us may not have access to these, so instead today I will be using 1 litre (0.26417 US Gallons) water bottles to substitute. If you do not have some bottles you could use, you can also use what ever is in your pantry, such as two cans of beans, and of course you can drop the weights as an option.
